Palmoilmagazine, KISARAN – Vice Regent of Asahan, Taufik Zainal Abidin hoped that the central government and Indonesian Legislators re-eniven palm oil plantation development in perkebunan inti rakyat (PIR) system because it proved to welfare the smallholders.
Taufik convinced, PIR could increase the smallholders’ economy namely in District of Asahan. He told it because every element in palm oil sector in Asahan wished for it.
As in the official statement to Palmoilmagazine, besides developing palm oil plantation in PIR system, the central government should also revise the regulation about profit sharing from palm oil plantations.
He hoped, the fair economic should be delivered for palm oil producer regions and the most important thing, Taufik continued, the regions could get retribution from the plantation sectors.
He continued, this is about to escalate the income in each region and develop the villages to welfare the people, to increase the quality and quality of infrastructures. (T5)
